68' Oil Pressure Gauge Work in A 77' Cluster?

Hello, does anyone know if a 68' Oil Pressure gauge or any other 68' gauge work in a 77' cluster. Thanks...:eyerole

The instruments are essentially the same, but the '68 oil pressure gauge is mechanical. If memory serves, it's electrical in a '77.
