Where is the best source for replacement windshield glass for 1968 Big Block Corvette in terms of countour and fit? I replaced windshield a few years ago with correct date coded windshield, but the gap between the windshield and wiper door cowling is much wider than it should be and what the gap size was with original WS and what's called out in the AIM manual.
I'm told PPG is the "best fit" when it comes to replacement WS glass -- any thoughts or other suggestions?
Who was the original manufacturer for the windshield glass?
I don't want to replace with another WS only to find out the "gap" problem I have is still there.
Who's replaced theirs in the past couple years and extremely happy with your vendor selection -- who was the vendor??
