Any tips on how to pull of my dash pad in my 69. I have all the post molding out, as will as the instrament cluster. Dash is free, but doen't want to come out with the angles in the windshield. Already put a small crack in it:ugh while trying to pull it out

Thanks

Got the AIM (assembly instruction manual)? AIM shows how the whole thing was installed. There is a bolt in the reinforcement bar under the upper dash pad. It has to come out.

:)

I agree. I just did mine today while pulling the windshield. That bolt on my car was above the speedo cluster, 7/16 nut. I did have to bow the top dash because it would not slide right out. Finally just got the corner of the dash to clear the bottom of the passenger side a pillar, and it then slid out.

Thanks.

I removed the whole center bar there. Was afriad to bow the dash and not be able to put it back in, or break it in the process. Will bow it up and hope for the best:ohnoes
