Lonnie would like to know the name of the truck-bed product you used from Eastwood. He says everything he is finding in the catalog is in a spray can, and he thought you mentioned using a paint gun to apply it.

Thanks again for your help...Lonnie will owe you the first ride in his car for all your assistance!!!

I did not get it from Eastwood. I used the Eastwood system on my frame instead of POR15. I do think POR15 is a better product.

The truck bed liner material I purchased from a local automotive paint store. They have two kinds. One is called Gator Liner, and is an Epoxy based system. I used that on the inner floorboards and inner fender wells.

The other brand, I can't remember the name. It is a Urothane based product that I thought would be better suited to use on the Urothane based clear coat of the car.

It is mixed 1 to 1 and sprayed through a body shultz gun. The local place I buy it is called Finish Masters.

I just called my local Finish Master store, and was told they have stores all through the Tampa area. He told me to tell you to just look up Finish Masters in your local phone book and you should find one close to you.

Either the Urothane or Epoxy will work fine, and they sell it in difference colors. I think you can even tint it to match custom colors.

Hope that helps!

Tell him to upload some pictures so we can see what he is up to.

Thanks again...

we actually purchased some paint from FinishMasters for the 96 - they matched the paint perfectly and were very helpful!

I'll see if Lonnie can get Rick to come over with his digital camera. We have lots of pics, but all in 35mm format. It really is looking good - it is amazing to me that you can sand-blast 30 years of grime off the parts and they look absolutely beautiful - like brand-new!! Says a lot for Corvette quality too!

Have a nice weekend-

Lauren

Thanks!!

I will pass that on to my husband!!

:)
