Where is the brake fluid pressure warning light on my 72 LT1?

It should be the same as my '71. It's the same light that indicates the parking brake is applied. The one on the tach face.

That's what it shows in the owners manual and I have seen mine come on when I had a front line leaking.

Thanks White Knight, the local "expert" says that was true in 71 but not in 72. I'm thinkin you are right hopefully I will never have to find out like you did. Had a small leak in the rear and just wanted to have an easy way to monitor until I fixed it.

It is the brake warning light that is common to the parking brake. It tells you that you have a difference between the braking systems. IIRC, once you correct the underlying problem, there is a procedure to reset it by disconnecting the switch from the brass block. Wait a few seconds and reconnect.

It is a warning light, telling you that something is not right. It gives no indication of a pending problem.
