- 88 Convert ( SOLD ) /1973 coupe 4 speed/1964 Vert!
So.. I went for a Holley rebuild of a Q jet
$165.00@ Kragen 1 yr warranty, they had it in stock..I couldn't resist.
Bolted right up ( cept the choke ) which I have the incorrect Vette alumium manifold.. but a piece of welding wire fixed that in a big hurry ( choke locked open..heck it's So Cal)
20 min later VROOM another 2 for adjustments
and purr!
Now I have to find a GOOD alignment shop & rebleed the brakes.. I lost a little pedal while changing the master brake booster.. funny though.. I never broke the lines..Oh well a good bleeding never hurt..ask my wallet!

So the bushings are done/the VIR is done/ the rear sway bar is done/accelerator pedal is replaced.. now on the the new engine!
Then paint ( oh yeah..interior too..geeze does it ever stop?)
And it's back in my garage as the beloved laundry sorting table..I actually thinks it likes it there..
Oh yeah.. I still need to get VIN verification from the CHP..oops
