If I buy the LED tail light bulbs (not complete light assembly) do I have to change anything else? Thanks

When I changed to full assembly, I had to change the flasher under the dash on the passenger side. I assume it would be the same with the bulb alone. Since I didn't change any other lights over, the standard 4 way flasher still works.

I put in LED bulbs into mine and they just were not bright enough......

I remeber the background inside the OEM fixture is white, maybe if it was more reflective? Anyway, I am very happy with my LED replacement units-VERY bright and kind of provides a "modern upgrade".

You have to buy the kind that is tapered toward the socket. Ones that cut off flat won't fit. I know this is true of 1977 type bulb sockets.
