Does anyone have a diagram of the 74 fusebox? If so, please post it. Also, is there an 'easy' way to remove the fuses from the fusebox. I have one that feels like it is stuck in place and I do not want to mess anything up by yanking on it.

I use a flat head screwdriver and pop them out. Sometimes they break... but no big deal... Just make sure your battery is disconnected.

Sorry... no diagram here.

thanks 74bigblock! anyone else have the diagram?
I can't post a drawing but maybe this will help. Looking up under the dash at the fuse block the fuses should be labeled like this for a 73, 74, or 75 according to my Haynes manual. Actually my 76 looks the same.

25A AC HTR --------------BLANK
20A B\U DIR SIG -------- 20A CTSY-LTR-CLK
10A GUAGES ----------- 20A TAIL
20A TCS SOL RDO ------ 20A HAZ STOP
25A WIPER ---------------4A INST LPS

It's best to remove a fuse with a piece of plastic or a plastic tool from the auto parts store. You don't have to disconnect the battery if you use plastic, a screwdriver will blow another fuse or break the glass. Buy an assortment of spare fuses.
Hope this helps,
Lucky

i bought a fuse puller from the local parts store and it is very much like this one from ecklers; however, i cannot figure out how to get the fuses out with it. any suggestions?

That's why I just use a small flat head screw driver to pull em out. I have a quick disconnect on my battery, so i just reach back and unscrew it... yank the fuse, replace... screw in disconnect... done. It's a sittle glass tube with a peice of metal inside... there is nothing to damage... that doesn't cost 5 cents to replace.

i ended up disconnecting the battery and pulling it out after it broke with needle nose pliars. if anyone has the fuse diagram, i would still like to have a copy!

I offer full color wiring diagrams for all corvettes from 1953 through 1980. Each diagram is about 22x34", is laminated on both sides in 5 mil clear plastic, and includes all electrical options, fuse/circuit breakers, lamps, and for the C3 cars the vacuum system for the heater-a/c, headlamps, and wiper door.

I will be at the Bloomington this weekend, Booth MC315, in the Mega Center. Stop by and say HI.
