COLEY:
Don't let your exuberance to get a Vette overwhelm your sense of logic. Patience is definitely a virtue. With all due respect, it would seem that the price is significantly too high - - probably by $3-4k. Either low-ball `em or keep walkin'.

I am sticking with my orginal statement, any thing or 9000 is too much. Start at 7500 and see where you go from there.

coley up on the top of the thread is a button marked "thread tools" with a printer friendly version print out this thread and the other I linked you to and bring them with you when you make your offer.
Good luck

I know this is a bit off topic, but I would really like to see a 76 registry started. The cruise-fest is geographically impossible for me to attend this year, so I won't be able to discuss this there, but I am open to starting a new thread to explore the possibilities here at CAC.

Any thoughts or comments?

A 76 forum or a 76 registry would be great! I agree about the 76 being the Rodney Dangerfield of the Shark era. I paid $4,000 for mine 13 years ago, and have since invested 5 times that amount to change almost everything out to what I want. Had I known that I was going to dump that kind of $$$ into it, I would've bought the chrome bumpered 'vert that I've always lusted after....but now I'm financially and emotionally attached to the 76.
:L :L Ain't that just the way it goes? Same here with my '80.
At least the 76's have a living person associated with them. I've heard the 80's referred to as the Abortion Years. Nice... :L
