Hello all, thru one of our Disney hardware vendors, i am able to buy the Grade 8, 7/16-20 x 8 bolts used to lower the rear suspension. i will be recieving 5 sets monday or tuesday. i am offering them to CAC member for $10 a pair . that should save you about $10 versus catalog sales.
they do not include the bushing or washers. if you want the nuts too, i think i can provide them .the nuts will be Grade 8 self-locking(nylocks)
note; if enough member are interested i can get more if needed , now that the vender knows which city his company stocks them in!

best to all

Robin

Robin, Put me down for a pair with nuts. One of my projects is to replace the rear spring this year. I have the new spring and neopene bushings. Oh by the way are there enough threads to adjust all the way back to stock hieght as well?

Gary

Gary, when i get the bolt in from the vendor, i will save you a set. i believe there will be enough threads. if not, i can exchange them for a set that i can add threads to in the machine shop.

Robin, Thanks I just wanted to check on that becuase when I got this vette they had some pretty tall tires on it and I may not be able to lower the cae much while they are on there. I think the tires are about 2 sizes larger than the ones I had on the other vettes. Not wider, just taller.

Thanks again and I'll wait to hear from you. Stay dry and don't let the little winds blow you away down there.

gary, we had 105 mph winds friday night, and come out in great shape. some areas will not get power back till thursday. we are really lucky

don't work too hard on the rez!
