If you think yours needs some TLC then you should see mine...LOL. Nice Vette Spikebot!

Nice ride! Here's a few pics of mine. Finally got my rear louvers on. Also, found a set of original rims last summer, had them reconditioned and mounted new rubber.

Nice car. 81s look so good with factory slots. Love the louvers. Sure don't see many on the road

Mark, Happy New Year. Haven't talked with you for a few weeks. Hope you had a nice holiday season.Couple of pix of the 81. Dave :w

Happy New Year to you Dave. WOW yours looks fantastic. Cant wait till mine looks that nice. Tax return should put a big boost into my interoir.

A freind did the paint on both the 81 and the 74 vert. My son and i did the interior in both. Thnx for the nice comment. Yours is looking good Mark. Dave :w

I'll do all the insides on mine also but paint and body is not my game. I'll farm it out someday. On another note. Yesterday was sunny and I drove the car to my companys shop to steam the under carrage. What a mess. This poor girl hasent been cleaned since 1981. Took 2 1\2 hours. I'll get it higher off the ground today and see how it looks. I've been off work over the holidays and have done a ton for fixen. Lots of little things that dont cost much.

Thats cool beans that your weather has been decent. Still about 16 inches of snow here at the house and cold. 5 degrees tonight. Been off on a 4 day weekend myself and enjoyed every second of it. Dave :beer

Today looks ok too. 40 deg now. Gotta take the Christmas stuff down before the wife kicks my ass. Rain starts again tonight with no end in sight.

I love the louvers too!! I have been thinking about them for my 81, we'd have twins then as mine is silver to. :beer

Just wondering who you ordered your rear louvers from. Thanks

Got the louvres on ebay. I'd been watching for quite a while for these made by Cragar back in the late 70's / early 80's. Seems like they come up every month or two. Shipping can be expensive becaused they are an oversized package. I didn't get any mounting hardware with mine, so had to fabricate something. I'm still working on perfecting that part. Here's a thread that has some other louvre info http://www.corvetteactioncenter.com/forums/showthread.php?t=97946
