Hi Folks !!...
Awhile back....somebody had a thread that described how to stick a wire in some hole to release the seat back so that it would fold forward. I've been having troubles with it. A few jiggles used to free it...now it moves just a little and no more. I'd put in a few smiley's to cheer this post up...but all I have on the "tool line" is little boxes with "red X's".. Figure that...
Thanks Folks
Fred

I don't know about the wire fix, but I had the same problem. The seats were out and I was putting them back in temporarily to give a friend a ride. I ended up taking off the acorn-nut covers and plastic hinge covers to fool around with the hinge. There must be some sort of mechanism that I freed because the seat eventually folded. Since all I wanted to do was access the rear holes to install seat-retaining bolts, that's all the further I messed with it.

I'll be interested to hear about any wire fix, too.

Although I have yet to actually do this...I think one just slides a small wire along where the seats pivots to release the latch. I have also pulled back on the seat back just a bit and have been able to get it to fold.

Good luck,
