Chuck, are you envisioning a same-gen 4 speed like they had in 1980 or are you looking to do something late model, like a 5 or 6-speed?

Since the 4 speed was optional for 81, you can purchase the assembly instruction manual (AIM) and do a factory installation if you want to go that way.
