82 Collector Edition

Hello,I bought a new gauge cluster and used am fm cassette from a 82 Buick with orange bulbs for the clock and stations.Is this color correct for a 82 Vette or should they be blue.Thanks for any help jms12557@mountain.net. Also still looking for a 82 Collector edition horn button

The clock/display on the radio in the '82 is orange LED's.

I always thought they were blue, I'm pretty certain it was blue on the only oem radio equipped CE I ever saw.

The OEM units were orange, mine is original and still works.

Collector Factory Radio

I contacted Doctor Don's who is repairing the radio and they say Blue,He checked four on the shelf and two to be repaired with the am fm cassette and seek and said all had blue.About half and half as far as Owners contacting me.So I;m still not certain.

Sheesh Marck , perhaps there are two different displays out there . Not surprising when you consider what the general charged for a collector ,,,,,,,,,,,,,,,

Yeah, the extra money did not go into the car imo, the diff. in price is not justified.. for that money it should have had 4 webers LOL
