82 Fuel injectors running after key is OFF!

I just replaced my alternator and the fusible link that leads to the battery. After doing so, the car will not start. When I turned the ignition off, the injectors started running. The only way to stop them was to pull the fuses. There is no gas coming out, but I also can not get the pump to work. The fuse for the pump was good. I also noticed that the check engine light is on dimmly when the ignition is off. Any ideas?

Thats odd. it sound like you either crossed a couple of wires or got the wrong alternator.

I would agree... sounds like you have an electrical issue, recheck your steps on everything that you did before you had this problem and I'm sure you'll find the isue. Good luck and post your results.
