Help! 82 fuel pump issues

Hello everyone ,new member here with some small issues. where is the fuel pump relay and what does it look like . my manual does not show it, I changed out the pump with an 85 model my fuse behind the drivers seat in the battery box is good and the fuse in the block under the dash is good. the pump work and car runs only when I run a hot wire to the brown wire at the pump, any other suggestions.

On other cars that had fuel pumps the relay was located on the driver side of the fire wall.Not sure if thats where the vettes are located or not.
try using the search function to see if this question has risen in the past!!!!

The fuel pump relay is in front of the ECM in the battery compartment. I moved mine to the center tunnel where all I have to do is lift the right lid for access.
