after a nice drive in the country I looked down and noticed my speedometer was on zero, also my avg.miles per gallon was not working,It too was on zero, any Ideas to help get me started?every thing eles on the dash is working..

Take the digital dash unit out and clean the contacts where the harness plugs into it. You also may wanna inspect the dash for solder joints that are looking suspect.

I also just had some trans work done,Is there a plug for the speedometer on the trans?

there is a harness that plugs into the speed sensor on the drivers side rear of the tranny, it may have come unplugged. I think i'd look there before pulling the digital dash.

good luck!

took the speed sensor out, looked ok gears too, hooked up to a volt meter,ok,checked fuse thats ok,now what?

The Trans shop probably left the ground strap off that bolts thru the top bolt on the trans to engine block. Common screw up by Trans shops.
