84 Steering wheel

While I'm at this. I also need to recover the steering wheel. The black leather is starting to wear through.

New wheel with the upgraded & thicker cover?

or

Restore and recover this steering wheel?

or

Cover the steering wheel with a wheel wrap?

My steering wheel was pretty ratty when i first got my vette, my solution was to go ahead and tear off all of the leather, and glue, then shine up the rubber under it (the leather on mine was falling off). it looks good, and noone can tell. i left the center piece leather wrapped though, and for the money its an easy fix. However i am still probably gonna try to find a decent one w/ the leather.
