someone cut off the ele. plug to my cooling fan relay and set it up to run all the time. I am puting it back the way it should be. Can someone look at there 84 cooling fan relay in front of the battery on inside curve of wheel well and tell me if the big red wire goes to drivers side of the plug, and the big black + red wire goes to the passanger side of the plug and the blue small wire goes next to the big red. and thesmall green + white wire goes next to the big black + red. The two small on inside, and two big on the outside. Is this correct, If not please let me know... Thank you

Does this help you?

Thanks

I do have this drawing,my problem is I picked up the correct relay but the relay has no drawing or imfo on it.My harness plug was removed so I need to know what order the wires were in the harness plug I don't have. With this imfo I can connect the correct wire to the correct relay post. 85 may have changed so if anyone has an 84 please look at your plug and give me the order this would help greatly. Thank you

where is the actual temperature sending unit located on the engine??

The one for the ECM is located on the front of the passenger side head...the one for the gage is located in the block on the drivers side.

???

The coolant temp switch for the fan is located on the passenger side head between the two rear spark plugs.

The coolant temp sensor for the dash is located on the drivers side head between the two front spark plugs.

The coolant temp sensor for the ECM is located on the intake manifold at the front of the engine near the thermostat.

The oil temp sensor is located above the oil filter on the drivers side.
