I have just bought a 1987 corvette. Both of the lumbar pumps dont work. Is there something common with this besides the fuse in the fuse box which is ok
Is there a inline fuse somewhere? Do I replace both pumps? Hard to believe both would not be working.
Thanks if you can help or can send a wiring diagram foe those seats

I will try to send a wiring diagram when I get home from work, 1-2 hrs.

Is there no power to the motors, or are the motors (pumps) working - they're just not inflating the lumbar supports?

Gene, My 90 did the same thing when I got it. I dont how mechanical you are, And I assume you have sport seats? Now, If you remove the bottom of the seat,(reach under the front of the seat and push back on the wire bail) the bottom of the seat can then be removed.Locate the pump,Operate the switch, and I think youll feel the pump try to run. If this is the case, What you need to order is a PUMP REPAIR KIT. Ecklers pt.#35091 $44.99 EACH 1 pr. seat. Took me 45min to do both seats. PS be careful unplugging the tubing!!!!!

Gene, did you pull the seat bottom? the pump MOTOR is most likely jammed, bythe broken PUMP. It wont run until you remove the pump from the motor. BUT before you take it apart, check to see if you have power at the motor! If you have power at the motor, then pull the pump off the motor.

Thanks drags1998 I will try this on sat
Thanks for the response
