I am considering putting my 87 TT up for sale and would like to get some input as to an estimated current value. In addition to recently replacing the turbos (Nov 03); we have up graded the exhuast (Flowmaster), added a body kit and Chromed 97-98 Corvette wheels, installed a carbon fiber dash kit and multi-CD player. 64K miles.

Thanks

It only takes one buyer.... What is it worth to that one buyer?? If you've got time to sell it and have it fully documented and the paint is flawless I'd start at around $30k. If you don't have time to wait-- low $20's

Welcome to the :CAC
To answer your question, Sight unseen (the pics do help a bit), I have seen 87 B2K's between $18k - the low 30's... I don't think the 18k car is representing values across the board, that was at an auction, the car wore the stock wheels and had mileage in the 60's too I think however, that was a few years ago...
A well maintained 87 Callaway, should bring somewhere in the median with those miles, any less, and someone is getting a great deal.
I hope this helps - Again, this is just my opinion on a car I have not seen or driven :m

I am wondering BTW, were the turbos replaced w/ the IHI's or, the larger Rotomasters??

Thanks. I was thinking about a 30K starting price.

As far as the turbos, I ordered the new ones through Callaway, which I believe were the IHI's -- the reason for replacing them was the oil seals on the orginal one's had started to leak.

Did that car come from Hawaii? There used to be a guy that posted on CF.com that had a car identical to that one. Im pretty sure he lived on the islands.

Yes it did ... same guy. I'm in the Air Force and was stationed in Hawaii for 9 years; now I'm in Utah. The reason we're looking at selling is we're thinking of buying a new ZO6. We've had lots of fun with this one, but we've decided it's time for something different and new.
