I am in the mist of rebuilding my L82 and to save money I was thinking of doing some work to the heads I have. I have been told that there are 2.02/1.60 's However I cannot find any information that the 333882 heads ever came with 2.02/1.60's.
I have a chance to get some torker S/R with manley and 5 angle
valve job with low millage for reasonable price but rebuilding the heads would alot cheaper. Will not rebuild if heads are not 2.02/1.60 does anyone know for sure.:confused

Thanks in Advance, Micktron

Micktron,
882 heads were 1.76/1.50 and 1.94/1.50. Never 2.02.

Adding to Mike's post, the 882 heads were very restrictive and prone to cracking. Unless you are looking to keep things original, an upgrade is certainly in order. For information on 882 castings, go to:

www.mortec.com

If you need to replace the heads with another set of 882's, I have a set that you can have for the huge sum of shipping costs.
