(loose traslation... That Callaway is great and I hope Arie enjoys :beer )

Thankx Pete and Chris, I'll pass the good luck wishes to Arie when i see him!

I don't know immigrationsservice would except you Chris :D
I didn't know there was a english > dutch translationprogram on the net, but it's almost correct ;) To translate back what the translationprogram came up with:
"Peter, that Callaway looks big Arie is sure (or; sure is) very lovely, Thanks Chris" ;) But it isn't far off non the less!!

The Callaway meeting was organised by Arie with the corvetteshop AJ's. It was just so cool, for everybody food and something to drink. :upthumbs And after chatting with some friend form the dutch forum Arie took the word and told the history of this/his Callaway and why he bought it, after that Arjan (owner from Aj's) told something about TT techniek and some spec's on this vette. After that the #010 was unveild to the public. The Callaway was stil on the garagebrigde so everybody could walk under it and take photo's with some extra info from Arjan. The Callaway was fired up to let it come on temperature. It had a very low and deep v8 grom. And outside for a few runs up and down the street (it still isn't street legal overhere so that's why one 1 street) I had the luck to be second to step in this monster. It was very wet but just to here those turbo's spin and hear the pressure valve's sisss was just asume!!! :cool :beer

Here are a few pic's of my collection (most are body work like the other photo's) so i uploaded some detailed engine photo's and nice stuff.
If somebody want more photo's just ask :cool

Peter,

Spectacular pictures and I loved the video.

Thanks for sharing with us.

DAAAAAYYYYMMMMNNNNN that vid is SWEET! I wonder what kind of BOV is on that car. I want it.

I like the custom intercooler plumbing running straight through the crossmember. That car absolutely had to have the coil over suspension because if the stock transverse spring were in that crossmember-- No intercooler plumbing through there!

That is absolutely:crazy about running the plumbing right through the cross member :eek

That car is worth its weight in GOLD:upthumbs Arie is very lucky I suppose - hopefully the exchange rate worked out in his favor:v :Steer

Just curious Peter, do they salt the roads over there? or I guess in England would be a better question....Malc? Anybody?

You're correct Josh,

When they think it's going to freeze, salt is sprayed on the road's (wel most of them, so i can have some fun on the ones they don't do :D) That's also one of the reason's why we keep the vette's inside in wintertime. No that salt is such a big problem for the chassis (well my c3 chassis is thick enough) and 99% of the vette's here are for fun and not daily cars. So they wound see much salt in there live time's.

Greetings Peter.

We were all just watching the video of that car again last week - folks who had never heard a Callaway B2K were amazed at the sounds it expelled during the blasts on the wet cobblestone roads :eek

You looking to buy it Surf?? :m

As far as i know the #010 is still te same as last summer, Arie (the owner) has bought himself another costum c3 with elec roof (topchopped) en elec opening doors. At this moment he body offed this c5 for a one off body for this vette.. And i tought he bought a big american truck. So no change's to the Callaway because he's bussy with other cars. I hope (and think) he'll keep it this way so if he will sell it ever, the next owner can put it back in original status without to much effort.

Arie is very little on the internet lately. I told him about this forum but i think he isn't that much atracted to forums in general. When i see the 010 on the first meeting i'll post some picture's here...

Groeten Peter.

Good news! I hope he stays too busy with other projects to mess with the #10. Im just biding my time til the day I can make an offer on it.
