Hey everyone,
My car now has 152,000 miles, and seeing as I don't know what kind of maintenance she received before the 132,000 mile mark am planning on taking her in for a tranny flush and filter change. Which got me thinking about getting a shift kit installed while I had her in the shop. I have never used a shift kit before and have heard pros and cons from many uninformed sources! So, what do you guys think? I don't mind hard, crisp shifts, I actually prefer them! Would a shift kind improve performance/durability of the tranny? Is it a worthwhile upgrade, or will I regret installing it?

Thanks in advance,
Jose

If you just want firm shifts and reduced ware, go with the RV/Towing shift kit. I've always been told this is the best choice for the street. The more aggressive kits shift much later and very hard. They can get annoying.
