'90 Headlights

I have a '90 convertible - was manufactured for delivery in Canada and has automatic headlights. The open autmatically when the car sensor feels it is evening/night. Does anyone have any history in this, and can you tell me where the relay is that I can bypass so I can control the lamps manually? It isn't a huge deal, but when I drive down country roads in the evening, or on a cloudy day, the lamps will open and close several time in a mile.

Never heard of a system like that on a vette. I know that on other automatic headlight systems they have a delay built into them to keep them from turning on or off when they shouldn't, like due to street lights or other bright lights.
