How do you get the seat belt light on the dash to go out?It stays on even with belts hooked?

My first guess would be the electrical connector on the latch side of the driverside belt is disconnected. You may need to remove the Driverside seat to get to the connector

Add me to the list of 1990's with the same problem. The INFL REST indicator is on, as well as the "fasten seatbelt" light. In my case, the chimes work as expected (if belts not connected I get chimes, yet don't get chimes if they are, but either way the "fasten seatbelt" light remains lit). I went to the site but the images did not display, so will check back another time to see if it is server-related.

Both of your Links show up "gone"!!! Any others come to mind?? SpanishVettes, Please Expound on the two lights always lit..............
Thanks!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Quick Cure

Bought the Air Bag Reset Tool from Mid America and both seatbelt and INFL RST lights work fine no. Took all of a minute to do.........:beer:w
