What is the hp/tq of this Callaway motor...? anyone have a dyno sheet on their car ? ...

Damn thats some serious torque ......I like that...ummm..I,d love to see a dyno sheet to see where all that tq is being put down....

Most owner don't put the car on a dyno. Bad news if something like the housing breaks. But I'm sure some one has or will be....Surf...:D

Luigi, that's scary

Do you know what the modifications involved to get that extra power?

BTW mine spins round to 55/56 hg boost through the gears. I think it might be a good idea to find a dyno and see what power/torque I'm getting. My local dyno only goes up to 300 RWHP though (enough for those lame European cars!).

Malc,

The upgrade documentation states that it consists of:
-TT3 Cam
-Billet Steel Rods
-450 HP Pistons
-Upgrade Cylinder Heads (porting, seals, 2" Intake Valves, 1.56 exhaust Valves)
-Stailess Steel Exhaust Manifolds

I run about the same, 55-56 hg.

Cheers!

Hi Chris,

The cost of the upgrade was $9,630 and it was done in 1993.

Luigi - I wonder what that option would cost today:cool

I can think of at LEAST one person who would want an extra 50+ hp (or 100+ ;) )

Lookiing forward to taking a ride in your Callaway this Summer at Carlisle :m

geez...turn the boost up a little on that bad boy :L Id love to see the numbers at 58" ...I bet it would push 500hp.

more when upgraded

callaway does a upgrade which includes 8 1/2 to 1 compression.
i do not know how much hp. or torque it adds. i do know mine seems to run hotter with the upgrade.

I believe that is the 450HP upgrade!
