I did this without removing the dash pad. If I had to do it again I would follow my FSM . At 71 I did not keep track of how long it took me , if I had it
would be in days not hours. No leaks and only had one screw that I did not replace in the defroster duct flange.

Congrats on getting it taken care of. Any job accomplished and not leaking is good. If you have any pictures, may want to do a writeup for someone else who wants to take a crack at it your way.

This is what I found on line and they did help but I would follow the FSM and remove the dash. I do have a inspection camera and that was
a big help. I removed the seat and used a 2" hard foam pad on the floor , covered the seat studs and made it easier to get in and out.The heater
core was a NAPA copper replacement , a exact fit , purchased in 2006 when I got the 92 . I looked at what I had to do at that time and put
it off till I did not have a choice.
