'92 to '90 egr solenoid swap

As some of you may know the egr solenoid used for 91 and perhaps earlier model years is now out of production. I purchased a 92 solenoid and other than the manner in which it mounts it appears to be the same. Does anyone here have any more of an idea on the matter? Jack​

Did you notice a slightly different electrical connection? Any thoughts?
