I just received a used drivers door lock actuator and installed it. When the doors are closed and I use my remote to lock the doors both doors lock and about three seconds later the drivers door unlocks on its own. I locked the door using the toggle switch in the door and the doors remained locked. Anytime I use th remote door lock button the drivers door unlocks itself within 2 or 3 seconds. I hope someone can tell me what to check next. I would really like to get the car back on the road.
Thanks for the help so far.

I think it is on. When I bought the car it did not have a remote, so I purchased one. The old lock actuator only went about half way up and down and would not lock or unluck the door. The replacement actuator now locks the door but almost immediately it unlocks it again.

Hib,
I jsut went and removed the actuator from the door. When I connected it to 12 volts the assembly arm went down, then connected 12 volts again and the actuator arm went back up. When installed it will lock the door then quickly unlock again. How can I check if the PKE is actually? What else might cause it o not work properly. Thanks for taking time to help me get this thing working properly. The company told me yesterdady that they will sned me another used actuator if I cannot get this one to work right but it might be another week or so.
