I apologize cowansauto.
And I apologize to the other guy too. It takes a lot to start me to name-calling.,,
I see your offensive comments are still up

Given your "guesses " about O2 sensors and P/N switches has been shown to have no relevance to the starting problem at hand
maybe your should delete all your posts from this thread so as to clean it up for future users as the OP requested ?
Or maybe you are just trying to raise your post count?

Or we can all drop it and move on.

Seriously... the non-value adding drama in this thread is wearing my patience thin. This is the last warning.

That's it would you first read all the posts to this thread. If you do you will see that I was the one to bring up the P/N switch not Schrade. Second you would see how I was trying to help the op to understand that his problem could be many things that are all interconnected. Finally he asked the question about saving the parts that appeared bad and I was saying that before he buys new parts that there are a multitude of things to resolve first. As you can see I have been an active member of this forum for some time and during that time I have received thanks from a few people who found my approach to work for them to solve there particular problems. I also have learned from those threads I have followed when they resolved what ever it was they were looking for help on. When I came to this forum it was because I was leaving a forum that had gone down hill to were every thread was an excersize in oneupsmenship. At least the other contributor was man enough to apologize to the op and me. You will note I hope that I used my FSM to give the op the FSM name for the codes he had. You will also note I did not answear what a code 73 was and made no comment about the 9---- in his orignal post. You might also see were others mentioned the P/N switch as a possibility. So perhaps you owe Schrade an apologie since he was only expanding on what others including myself had started.

I think the bigger point has been missed

There is almost as much bickering as data.. right wrong or indifferent...
and I'm not taking sides here...

There is no rule in any news group that states all your information MUST be 100% correct.. or you will not post..
Each member offers his ( or her ) best.. from their point of view..
It's free,it's not a pay for service. It's the internet ( read the wild wild west )
We attempt to be the best. sometimes we FAIL...

This is a good example of that

Notice the OP hasn't posted in days.....?
and I do not blame him....

my .02

Mike
