Help! 93' Cruise Control TS flow chart

Got a 93' LT1 cruise control worked once! Then never again, checked all the vacum lines, fuses, cables, no go. I need a flow chart with voltage and wire colors. Idles fine, runs great, no trouble lights, only mods are replacement radio and TBI performance prom installed to eleminate VATS system.

Did you check the check valve located on the passenger side in the middle of the intake manifold?

There is a small check valve with three ports on the passenger (right) side of the middle of the intake manifold. These valves have a tendency of becoming brittle with time and heat. Even if the valve looks OK, pinch it between your fingers. More often than not, the valve will break apart. This is the main source of vacuum for the cruise control and the HVAC controls.

Yes, I'm gonna check it. Everytime I just touch one vacum line they crumble. Where can I get one of those check valves if I need it?

Here it is. Check the connections often times the nipple on the valve breaks off. If you get it off and don't find any broken hoses or connections block off one of the small connectors and use a hose or your mouth to suck on the other connector. If you can suck air through it it is bad replace it. You can get the check valve at most auto parts stores for under 5 bucks. I did that a year ago and had to replace mine last week. This time I paid 8 bucks for a GM original.

There is a vacuum reservoir located on the driver's side to the left of the radiator. Follow the vacuum hose from the reservoir along the left side of the engine. The hose should end up behind the engine near the firewall. One end of the hose should go to the Cruise Control module. The other end goes thru the firewall into the passenger compartment. This one feeds the HVAC controls inside.

Thanks, that is the one I thought it was. I've needed to redo alot of those vacum line rubber hoses. Real nice pics....Thanks buddie
