What do I do first? My 94 is all stock. I want to start to improve in low price addons first for power and then handling. Also its a coupe and I seen a soft top for the coupe. Do they realy work? Going to take a road trip and liked the idea of more space.HELP :w

Fats, check this thread in the mods forum if you haven't already. Although it's a thread about L98's, much of the basics translate to the LT1 ( exhaust, air intake, etc. ). There's also good info on the mods that are basically useless.

BTW, I can't help you with the top, but if it's the type that uses velcro to secure it to the car, I'd be a little leery about it. Try doing a search in the data base for info.

The first couple low cost thing's I did was cut the air box lid, added a K&N air filter then the Thottle Body coolant bypass. Really didn't notice a power increase until I installed the 1.6RR's and the LT4 springs. To date my best 0-60 time has been 4.9 seconds. With the mod's comming soon (see sig.) I'm hoping for 300HP at the wheel's. By the time I'm done with all that I'll have 2,500 invested in mod's not including my labor.

So once the mod bug bites it's gonna cost ya':w

Why don't you cruise over to Chaska and chat with the boys at TPIS. The success you'll enjoy will come only after you develop and follow a plan to achieve your goals. the haphazard approach yields frustration and possibly less power; certainly wasted cash!
