95 lt1 blank lcd

Well I have viewed this site many times. Very good info & input here. My one question as I'm new to this, can anyone assist me in diagnosis on a completely blank LCD on a 95 lt1. Instrument cluster LCD. I pulled the cluster & disassembled completely. I saw no problem with any connections, pins or wiring. There is a long story behind this post. I got a great deal on this car but its got me stumped now. I would be very appreciative of any suggestions.

The LCD is back lit by 2 incandescent bulbs as shown in the diagram below.
12 volts for the bulbs comes from the LCD fuse #38 5 amp fuse which is hot all the time and
is located in the passenger side end of dash fuse panel.

An indication the fuse is good is if you open either door, Security light in the left side of the
dash cluster should blink on and off.

If you're saying the Orange background is there but no data, the data comes from the CCM
also called the body control module.
