My back up lights won't work. I have put in a new switch and verified wiring. Lights work by jumping the switch plug. I believe the linkage in the trans that pushes on the switch ball is not working. I have moved the linkage and it moves with the shifter, but I measured the depth of the moving linkage at .977 inch and the switch is at .700 in. Has anyone seen this and what would be the cure.
