Hello and good day to all,

My 96 LT4 clutch pedal literally must go ALL the way to the floor to be able to crank the engine, also while driving clutch pedal travel is also pretty much to the floor. Is there any adjustment on this? any and all guidance will be appreciated.

thanks & God bless, Gary L.

There is no adjustment which can be made in the field.

Bleed the clutch hydraulics according to the Service Manual. Then road test. If that doesn't solve the problem, you either have problems with the clutch master or clutch slave or with the clutch itself.

Are both of these conditions new?
- happened all at once

Is your clutch pedal loose?
- can you push it further then normal with ease by Hand

Like Hib said time for a new clutch system
I personally replace master/slave/release bearing/clutch/disc/pilot as an assembly on high milage vehicles and on ones that are older and sit a lot
