I need to replace the rear control arms on my '96 CE with Z51. Depending on the source, I have come up with two different sets of part numbers that will fit:

#10098146 / 10098147 - All aluminum. Chevy on-line parts suppliers show multiple listings, including "all years" and "up to 1995" for C4s. These typically cost around $35 each.

#17999723 / #17999720 - Chevy descriptions include the later years (maybe '93 up) and a separate line item for "1996". These typically run $85 each. I have not seen a picture of these, but I know there is an arm that appears to be made out of some type of composite material.

My car came with these composite arms, but being that I bought the car used, I can't be certain what part is correct.

Anyone out there know for certain what the correct replacement parts would be?

Thanks in advance for your help.

My parts CD indicates part numbers 17999720 and 17999723 fit everything from 84 through 96. I believe the other numbers listed are the casting numbers.
