BHVette, sorry to hear you need to sell your coupe. You may get more response from potential buyers if you post some pics of the car so people can at least see it.

Good luck!

I am really depressed at the asking prices for 97,98 etc corvettes. at 17.000 you probably have 3 times that invested, Sounds like a great car and Iam sure you'll have no problem selling it.I let my 65 roadster go for a similar reason and have (of course) regretted it ever since. It just makes me cringe to see such a great car sold for so little.

It doesn't make me cringe, it makes me happy! Means I can afford one soon! :)

Just playin' devil's advocate :)

Yes it is great for you,and i hope you can find one at the right price, but be careful. All corvettes were built with care (I believe) but what happens next is anyone's guess. I would never buy one used. I have seen too many idiot's own them and cannot afford the maintance, or just refuse to maintain the car or any car. So be prepared to cough up the cost of neglect when you purchase your corvette bargain. I am proud to admit that my corvette (not for sale) is a almost daily driver (all hiway) and has been maintained, not only by GM but myself, and is in the exact same condition as when new. Rather then sell it for 17 to 23M I think I would part it out.
