Anyone heard of this. I saw one on ebay. It is supposed to be a better sounding exhaust noise at a very small cost.

bobz I not only read about it, I had it done! I have a '99 that I thought the stock exhaust sounded a little too quiet for my taste. However, being a family man with other financial obligations I can not afford a $800-$1000 exhaust upgrade right now. My local muffler shop
installed those "muffler bypass pipes" labor and material for $63. I then painted them with high temp flat black paint. I love the sound. No annoying, unwanted droning inside the car, but upon acceleration (especially reving through the gears) it sounds great. Hope this information helps! Jack

I drilled some holes right in the exhaust manifolds. Be sure to center one hole on each pipe.

Love the sound.

And, it's all "pre-cat," so it doesn't affect your emissions -- better than headers.

What? So, you now have little jets of flame shooting into your engine compartment?
:confused

There nothing more high performace sounding like the sound of an exaust leak. :eyerole
