Here is a better shot of my magnas on the car. Click the thumbnail for more detail.

Ohsobad, they look great. I still need to tweak mine just a little to get them perfectly straight, then weld them. I have been too busy driving the car and having fun, so I keep putting that off. Happy cruising!

Mine need to be welded at some point as well but I know have a picture finally. It took me a while to get them flush and as even as I could. I did want them sticking out too far or hanging too low.

Would u mind getting another shot while the car is in better light? I could not see much detail in the distance between the body work and the mufflers.

Yea, when I return from my business trip I'll see if I can get a better picture. I can tell you that measuring from the cutout in the bumper my tips sick out les than half an inch. Also they sit about half and inch or less from the top. I haven’t had any issues yet with heat and the bumper. Also if you stand a foot behind the car and look down you can't see the tips at all.

looks great!

A question...........

I will be getting these muffs as I posted on GreenLT-1's thread.......... but has anyone one (or does anyone know of) changed from the double round tips to the stock wide rectangular tips, (In chrome of course) ??? I think i'd like the stock appearing tips chromed, rather than the double shotgun barrel look.

Idaho Slim, to my knowledge the Magnaflows are only available with the double round outlets. I, too, would have preferred something closer to the stock look.

Sorry folks, the pictures of the Magnaflows looks like a big time disaster to me. Has nothing common with general lines and appereance of C4 body. At least they should manufacture them with square tips properly sized for the recess in the bumper rather than shutgun barrels. That's how I feel from the pictures posted on this page... After all Corvette is a sexy ***** and has to maintain its slim lines. Otherwise it has no difference from a Camaro which is a big piece of bashed metal!

I will have to agree with SSTibet. I have been looking for a setup for my 92 and I now know that this is not it. Perhaps if it could be tucked up closer. Could it be? It need not be the square tips of the orginal style and in fact I would prefer that it did not. I think the square tips with round black holes in the center look a little odd.

You can get them completely under the car if you want. I liked them out just a little (1/2 inch). These tips aren't bad but it’s surely a personal preference item. I’m really picky with rims. I don’t think I could ever replace the stock saw blades unless it was with a Chrome set.

Also, another picture as promised.

Taste is totaly personal, you know what I mean. I love the looks and features of Power Effects (as far as I can see them from the internet pages) but they are too expensive. And what is worse is I am in Turkey and it is so expensive by the time they are imported to my country. But hey who knows, may be one of these days I can go wild and buy a set of those...
