A/C upgrade to electronic A/C

I recently found an electronic A/C console.

can I just swap it with the normal A/C console ?

what adjustments should I make to actually make it working ?


Its for my 1986 coupe L98 iron heads

imho not worth the trouble.on the electronic a/c the doors and such are vacuum control. all that has to be changed.unless i am wrong it`s a lot more work than changing the dash module

I will try to build it and just let the blower and rear window defogger work,

my A/C pump is broken anyway.

In addition, the displays on those things are flaky. Mine constantly flashes, displays garbage... I've cleaned the contact as recommended, but that only lasts for a little while.

Yup, mine barely stays lite up anymore. It used to be if I pressed like external temp really hard it would light back up, and stay on, now I have to hold that down and change it if I want it coolar or warmer.
