You have a blown big block in this car, with catalytic converters?

We have constant threat of spot checks by the police. At car shows they sometimes block the enterance/exit and make every car go through a very quick visual safety inspection. Nothing much but cats really show up. A quick peek under the car, no cats $450 fine. Can't argue so I put a set of high flow cats for $230 for the pair. Beats $450 plus needing to install the cats plus if you get a charge I might have to really go through and intensive safety. While my car to my way a of thinking is far above factory specs the kid playing mechanic might not think so and see a massive amount of none factory stock items and declare an unfit car.
My emergency brake ,exhuast and everything else I feel meets any cops inspection.
Suprisingly I have run this blower for 6 years, had numerous cops look at it but not a word is said about visibility. They leave me alone and I want to keep it that way.
I will do all I can to make the car comply with safety standards.
Roll cages are frowned upon so mine is almost invisible from the outside.

It doesn't matter what I know or don't know the cop with the ticket book is king. His work is law. Even if I fight it and win I still go through the hassel.
Street racing is really really bad here and another 2 kids were killed recently. I live in a area of about 5 million in a small 60 mile radius and racing is giving us a bad time. Too many young kids are getting killed and it is all about street racing. They hired 200 special agents just to try and stop street racing.
If you were one of these 200 wouldn't you look at a car like mine and suspect me as a street racer. 10 years ago you would have been right but not anymore.
In a way I still am. I just drive very fast across country and break every speed limit along the way. My time will come. I just hope it isn't too costly.

Just saw the 6 oclock new and 3 kids die as a result of speed, loosing control and cutting the car in half. They are looking for the other car that took off. That is what is causing our problems.

Is that your fuel line running between your exaust?have you ever had a vapor lock problem from the heated fuel?

Yes that is a 1/2 inch rigid stainless line running between the exhuasts. Been that way for over 10 years and never once have I had a problem. Remember I use a pair of electric pumps at the tank so vapor lock is not usually a problem. If you feel the line after a hard run down the expressway it is still cool but touch the line close to the carb, the one running past the motor and it is warm.
No I have never suffered a vapor lock.
