What is a Dclr vlv otlt pipe? And where can I get one? I know it is part of my emissions system however I can't find a true name for it. The chiltons manual I have uses this abbreviation and I can't find that in any catalogues. Mine is broken and needs to be replaced. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I looks like it must stand for deceleration valve outlet pipe. But, I'm not familiar with the 82s, so I'm not sure of it's function.

Your best bet for something like that is your local Chevy dealership parts counter. If you can, bring the part with you, they usually have an illustrated parts break-down on their computer (pictures of the parts listed by part number). They should be able to get one for you. Of course, buying directly from Chevy can be a bit pricey.

Part number is 14037664, in Group 3.675. I checked the GM Restoration Parts CD and did not find that part number listed, so your GM dealer is unlikely to have the part.

I would check the major Corvette vendors, Eckler's, ZIP, Dr Rebuild, Mid America, failing that you might start with the Corvette junk Yards. It is likely that the part is common with other GM products from around that era, so don't limit yourself to just Corvette parts sources.

The Chilton's manual uses that verbage because Chilton is using the Parts Breakout drawing from the GM Corvette Parts Manual.

Do you have a year specific GM Corvette Shop Manual? The manual for your year should have a description of this system. Chilton and Haynes are too generic for many purposes.
