I went to E'town on Friday evening to get a few time shots in and prepare for the Corvette Challenge on saturday. I ran a personal best that night of 11.214@123.6 mph . Well, I went to the Corvette Challenge event Saturday and achieved yet another best during a time trial run of 11.148@123.5, with a fairly mediocre 1.64-60'. I followed this up with a first round win running 11.168@123.19 with a better 1.60-60'. The car runs great and with a better 60' will eventually do a 10.9x or better...with me driving, of course.

BTW, I do not power shift, so I'm probably leaving something on the table there...but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

In addition, this car is no "light weight"...3350 with me in it.

I'd like to take time to thank the entire ECS crew (Chris, Doug, Marc and John) for guiding me and building me an increadibly reliable car on the track that gets driven back and forth there and is also a "street friendly" car.

Very Nice! I have wanted to do some work to make my Z06 faster, and the time will come to do that. But right now is not the best, as I am starting a new business and income is unpredictable. I have run some 12.4's at 2600ft with a nearly stock 2002 Z06. I would love to get in the low 11's like you have.

Congratulations on your new personal bests!

Those are awesome times and traps!
