ac compressor rattles

Is there anything to do to stop the rattles that seem to be coming from the ac compressor or ideler pulley? The compressor was replaced with the new system about a year ago just before I bought the car. I can't tell exactly where the rattles are coming from but it gets worse when the compressor kicks in or out.

Check the compressor bolts.

Hmm, sounds like the bearing on the compressor clutch. You can tell for sure if you remove the serpentine belt and spin the clutch by hand. If it doesn't turn smoothly without catching at all, it's the bearing.
