I JUST BOUGHT A SET AND WAS WONDERING IF THERE WORTH THE MONEY I PAYED FOR THEM? BECAUSE THEY WERE DOUBLE THE PRICE OF THE STANDARD AC DELCO PLUG.:ugh
THANKS

The Rapid Fire is a modest upgrade beyond a standard Delco spark plug.

Plugs

I just put Autolite double platinums in mine.. definately runs better than the delco's that were in it. It would be interesting to hear what other members use tho

I've installed rapid fires on my 1989. I prefer them over stock delcos because they are less prone to surface rust and seem to run just a little better. I would install them again.

I've had good luck with the RF Delcos so far...

I CAN tell you to avoid the Bosch Plat-4 design. For whatever reason they did'nt burn clean and carboned up terribly. I think the GM HEI system just cannot generate a good spark thru that tiny positive electrode on the Plat-4 plug. They were caked with crud when removed. The Delcos burn a near perfect tan/white.
