Help! Active Handling bypass

Active handling light is illuminated all the time, and button on console does not work to turn it off. Is there a reset, or a bypass to solve this issue without having to take it to Chevy?? Thx for input.

If the problem exists after you turn the key off then back on, you either need to diagnose the problem with a scan tester or the factory service manual or take it to a dealer or independent service facility experienced with C5 electronics.

You can read the codes from the DIC on the dash. Here's a link to the procedure and the codes.

C5 DTC Code Meanings

If you have a 1214 code its probably the ECBM module. There is a relay in it that fails. I just had this happen, it's easy to pull out the module. Send it to absfixer.com and for $150 its fixed. It sounds like there are other cheaper alternatives to fix it as well, do a search here or corvetteforum.
