which engines on what year of c3 corvettes do you have to add the gasoline additive to?

thanks

Are we talking about lead additive here?

Perhaps your question should be: Is lead additive worth the money, or is it snake oil?

What year is your car? How many miles on it?

Has it been rebuilt? (If so, you may not have to worry about it.)

Anything prior to 1975 were not originally equipped with hardened valve seats. Starting with that particular year, unleaded gasoline and catalytic converters were required on new vehicles.

I guess I would ask the question - how much do you drive the car? I run 1968 camel hump heads, but I put very few miles on the car (I just turned 67,000 miles). It has not posed a problem. As a previous poster mentioned, lead additive may be simply snake oil. That's just my two cents worth . . . I'm sure that others will chime in here, but I would drive it and not worry.

Hardened valve seats were introduced with the '73 model year.
