affordable performance

I think the bottom line here, is that naturally aspirated, your not going to get more than 30 or 40 ponies in bolt-ons for under 1200 bucks.

Can you feel 30 HP's ? yes

Does it feel like 1200 dollars ? To me NO ! :upthumbs

is it worth 1200 bucks to go 3 car lengths faster in the quarter ?

A book exist that dynos each bolt-on item on an LT1 called " how to modify your Camaro ". It goes into depth on the subject of LT-1 bolt ons.
You may be suprised. 300 HP's for an iron block 350 Chevy is about as close as your going to get on the street give or take 50 hp's. Sure you can get 400 hp's out of it but you probably wouldn't like it !

A 400 HP naturally aspirated small block Chevy is a headache on the street.

One final item, a Nitrous system can be installed so it seems as if its a natural progression in power. All it takes is a few micro swtiches. Who cares if its " only motor " or naturally aspirated ? How often do you go full throtle for more than 15 seconds ?

Modified vettes have lower resale than stock vettes. Keep that in mind as well. You can unbolt the N20, and sell on Ebay later. If its done right it wont hurt a thing as long as you don't get crazy with it (125HP's max) .
