I am working on installing an amp in my 90 vette. I want to put it behind one of the seats. I was wondering where the best area to ground is at on the glass car.(dont want any system noise) Plus is there anything to watch out for when i screw the amp down behind the seats. Thanks for any help.
Your good to BOLT the amp behind the seats if your going into the vertical fiberglass. As for the ground I found the best one was the "Roll Bar" If your remove (Or loosen off) the plastic and tie your ground into the bolts that hold your roof hardware up your good to go. Its a 1/2 Bolt If I remeber so you can use a adequate size loop connection for your amp.
Its easy just take your time and use 4-8 gauge wire no longer than 4 feet and you should not hear any static.
